On the simple and driven diagram we can see a power supply and it's written "Required for unsoldered eeproms" Does it mean that we need power only if we are removing the ...

Is the Driven programmer is to be more safe for the EEPROM (less risk of burning the eeprom with Driven) that the simple one ?

I have everything I need except that MAX232A chip, none of the 2 elect ...
