I now have tested it with another 4.5A (oroiginal IBM but not yellow) adapter.
Same result.
Yes it charges the battery.
Maybe I should get a new battery - The ones I have are OK, but they do not ha ... |

There are a lot of more numbers on the bottom.
Yes, it is powered by the original power supply.

If I try to update from IBET45JR to 1.22 (IBET54WW) at a IBM ThinkPad 600 Type 2645 I get the following error message:

Ponyprog was closed, but I think rscom.dll mght have been not in in the same folder (not sure becaue I tried around different wasy).
I will try it again with my other 2 thinkpads soon and tell t ... |

I used ponyprog.
r24c01.exe din't work - I don't know why.
I opened the DOS command window.
browsed to the folder with r24c01.exe
typed in:
r24c01 test.bin /x /d /i
nothing happens, but PC han ... |

I wanted to read the eeprom in circuit.
Can I use 2 zener-diodes or must I use a MAX232?
