| ShuG, remove the CMOS batt to get rid of POP.
I don't want to just remove it I would like to "read" it as 90% of IBM users when they set a pop they normally use the same password to set the hdd pas ... |

| Hi Viktor, I have studied your instructions and know I can remove the SVP but does the same procedure work on a power on password.
The SVP is not set but the pop and hdd is. I am not concerned abo ... |
