Good night

RUn it as Administrator. If you have AVG disable it.

Hello Victor,

The problem is I can not get into the BIOS of the machine. When I call it and press F1 to enter Setup, she asks for password. When you run the Setup push the "Ctrl + S" to enter the Boot Agent V1.2.45, get in, but can not change any procedure. I do not know what else to do.
I made the connections soldering the wires correctly in EPROM. I followed all the procedure for reading the same, but the answer is "Access Denied". I think that this Boot Agent is blocking access.

Hello,

You must run R24RF08 on a spare PC, not the locked one. If the OS is Windows 7 then run it as Administrator. Or set proper rights to the install folder.

Some AV programs may prevent the program fro running due to some false alarms or else. You may need to disable them temporarily.

Okay Victor,

I disable AVG, run the machine as Administrator and do all the procedure again to see the result. I redid the solder in the EPROM and I'll see what happens.

I thank the attention.

What loop?!

The images are quite blury and small. Would you take a few shots with a good camera and email them to support(at)allservice.ro?

That "loop" catched my interest.

Victor
Sorry for my typo. I do not speak English, so my translation is not up to snuff. Indeed, the message that displays is: "Circuit not found."

I take pictures sharper and send for analysis.

Big hug.

Hello Victor,

Still I could not photograph the motherboard, but I read the eprom. Below the link to read the images IBMpass:

Enter the text that is in line with 0x33, but does not. What can I be doing wrong?

Problem solved three capstan support of AllService.
Follow the procedures that the staff of the Forum I passed and could unlock the Lap Top.

I downloaded the program 24rf08, I read the EPRON, I created the file "dump.bin," ran the IBMPass to check the file, and must run W24rf08 (http://www.allservice.ro/store/utils/).
I purchased the license of the program, did the reading of the EPROM, then immediately did regração and ready. The lap top was unlocked.

I would like to thank the friends Victor and Bob for their support.

I have built and tested the interface, I connected three wires to the eeprom chip and followed the instructions, turning on the laptop and then pressing F1 , waiting for the password prompt and then connecting the interface wires 1 by 1 and running the r24rf08 dump.bin command in the CMD window (desktop PC running Win XP) I get timer started and then eeprom not available every time. I have tried running the itester.exe program and it gives me a 1 on both lines, so i presume it means it all connected ok.
Do you have any Ideas why the dump.bin file is always only 0kb?

Hi there,

Your presumtion is obviusly false, the interface/setup/port/else is not working.

We are here to help but we are not clairvoyants so we need pictures. Try to send them to our support email address.

Greetings

I have retested the interface connections and they are ALL correct and intact as per diagram. I will email the 1024kb bin file hoping that might help. I disconected the SCL line and then I got "reading eeprom" and it saved a dump.bin file of 1024kb but the ibm pass 2.1 lite shows the data at 0 x 330 as

7f 7f 7f 7f 7f 7f 7f 7f 7f 7f 7f 7f 7f 7f 7f 7f followed by all squares, NO readable data.
