Hi Victor,
another notch in your gun
I have successfully recovered the supervisor password from a T23.
The whole process went without a hitch.
Inspired by somebody else on this forum, I decided not to solder wires to the eeprom. To contact the chip, I used acupuncture needles, taped to a piece of circuit board. These needles are extremely thin and flexible, so they could rest spring-loaded against the chip's legs. Ground was taken from some metal shielding near the chip.
Enough said, except a big THANKS for your effort!

Hi,
I must say that I usually use 2 probes with very fine tips. The ground can be clipped on the SO-DIMM fastener, for example.
Any solution that works is the best.
Thanks and well done! |
