Once itester shows the right sequence (1-1,0-0,1-1), but after connecting to the eprom i got the "cicuit not found or bus error" message, and since then itester shows a wrong sequence (1-0,1-1,1-0,1-1,1-0,...). Evil or Very Mad



Victor told me already, that i switched (mirrored) the connector, and that the wires to eeprom must not exceed 30cm.
What about the max. length of the cable between connector and the circuit-board?

Wires length on the RS232 interface can be very long. RS232 uses polarity for the logic states. If you make your own cable then an unshielded cable better be up to 30cm.
