Hello! I got an error after I tried to make a BIOS update on a Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo Q5020 (barebone). How can I recover BIOS on this type PC? I have a keyboard on USB, without FN key, so this tutorial did not work.

Any other solution? Any other key combination?

Pe romaneste, s-a luat curentul cand faceam un update de BIOS. Prin urmare, unitatea porneste, dar nu mai da semnal video. Exista vreo sansa sa-i mai fac ceva? Dupa cum spuneam, pasii din tutorial nu merg. AM incercat cu tasta WIN in loc de FN, dar fara niciun rezultat. AM o tastatura wireless cu tasta FN, dar nu stiu daca se initializeaza dongle-ul pentru a da comanda mai departe catre placa de baza.

Salut,

Daca ai posibilitatea sa faci un dump de BIOS, atunci trimite-l la support@ si il putem repara contra cost. Iti trebuie un programator de flashuri SPI

Din pacate, nu ma pricep cum se face un dump. Daca trimit intreaga unitate in service (e un barebone 20x20x10), cat m-ar costa reparatia?

Salut din nou,

Demonteaza, te rog, capacul unitatii si vezi ce chip de BIOS are
Ar trebui sa fie un SOIC negru cu 8 pin. Are un punct de vopsea verde/albastra intr-un colt. Eventual poate poti sa faci o poza.

Mai pe seara o sa va trimit mailul, cand ajung acasa. Stima!

LE: v-am trimis un mail cu 3 fotografii ale modulului respectiv (cel putin, cel pe care il banuiesc ca are inscriptionat BIOS-ul pe el). Mailul are subiectul FS Esprimo Q5020
