Then look for a small 24c01 8 pins. It is there (could be noted 24LC01, C01, etc) in the BIOS/ Chip set area, you gotta see it.

have looked through the entire forum and didn't see the answer I was looking for. I am not sure of 2 things, one being: on the lines out from the eeprom, there should be 3, 2 go to the 2.2 ohms, but before that they break away to the zeners, then they turn to grounds, at that point I should have three grounds on that side and one ground from the serial. My question is what to do with all the ground wires. Also, looking at the 2.2 ohm, I don't understand if it has to face a certain direction from the eeprom (ie: brown band facing eeprom or away etc.) I see that the zener needs to face a certain direction. Perhaps I am just stupid, I am sorry for these questions.

I think you should ask a friend for help, it is the best advice that anyone could give you.

I get this eeprom not available error, i tried to make the module 3 times all three give me this error. I can't get into the bios. I tried that battery thing, and still the same thing, I tried f1 on power up and nothing it all goes back to the same error and padlock screen .F1 does nothing. When I power on, i have 163,161, errors, then to a padlock screen. I press f1 there and nothing, i press enter at the padlock and it takes me to a box listing the errors again, sayin ok or cancel. If i hit ok, then i go to a box that has an arrow pointing to a book. If i hit cancel, the same thing. what am i doing wrong. I have tried a different module, but i get an error saying something about circuit not available or something. the other module i made was on this forum, it had the zener and the resistors on the d9 and wires from that, problem is I can't tell which wire is which from the picture, it looks like he used speaker wire.

To read 24c01 use PONYPROG 2.05 or 2.06, not R24RF08.

Also build the driven i2c programmer.

See the procedure here:

P.S. I still believe that you need help from somebody who knows better how to handle this.
