Hi,

I have a Legion Y540 with password and I also have a Dell Optiplex that is having the low CPU speed syndrome, instead of 2.7GHZ it's only operating at 800MHZ. Someone told me that you can fix this so what do I need to buy from you?

Hey there,
Yes, we can fix the Dell CPU low speed issue. That might be caused by a thermal sensor that is de-calibrated or by a bad communication with the AC adapter one-wire protocol chip.

Our solution to patch the BIOS and deactivate those sensors. It is "update proof" so it won't reset after an update but we also inject it in the Factory default settings and can be reinstated if somehow the patch is altered

We normally can unlock any Legion, some models might be new to us and require more attention but Y540 is one we already unlocked.

What you need is SPEG programmer to have the BIOS chip dumped.
Y540 unlock is 30 Euro and Dell Optiplex BIOS fix is 35 Euro
