It is PCA 24S08 that is 24RF08 equivalent.

No need to write the chip unless you have passphrase enabled in BIOS.

i check the chip, its a 28 leads chip, 14 each side. and i cannot find the sda, scl lead...

please help me

The chip is PCA 24S08 and has 8 pins only.
Read it with R24RF08 and decode it with IBMpass 2.0.

hmm i think you are right. that chip is the sercurity chip.

but i cannot found the 24rf08... i cannot find any atmel chip Sad

X41 doesn't use 24RF08 but PCA 24S08. And this is an eeprom not the security chip.
AT97SC3201 is the security chip, but the password is in PCA 24S08.

oooooo i played with my t43 bios and after restart it locked out me:(

need svp pass but do not accept...

what can i do?

Is working with 2.0 if you use AA button.

T43 uses PC8394, the software t oread the chip is PC8394 Tools.
