My R51 won't boot at all and left me with a blank dead screen. The only thing that make me believe it's still alive is 4 short beeps and then...silent. I've check the manual and the exact meaning for those beeps is System Board (security chip).
Can w24rf08 help? Thanks |

No.
24RF08 is not the security chip, is just a small eeprom. The security chip is AT97SC3201-03, you have either a bad contact or a short circuit between the chip legs or a defective board. _________________ Victor Voinea
