Ok, I can't guess what you read there. Could you email the results of your work to support-at-allservice.ro?

The file is good, but there is no SVP set. The password is blank.

-Remove the CMOS batt to lget rid of POP.
-For HDP, remove the drive.

I’ve already tried to remove the batter, but the only think I’ve got was a time and date error. Does this mean that the only reason is a HD password? And you mean the only solution is changing the hard drive?
Thx again!

The only quick and affordable solution, yes.
The HDP logo is different form the SVP one, it is a cylinder accompanied by a padlock

Hi Victor,

I too have a T42p and am having an issue.

I have read the eeprom but at 0x330 there seems to be encoded data? If I use alternative scan codes, the results are still mumbo jumbo. I have read that IBMPass1.1c may help in this regard.... what do you think?

Regards and thanks for all the help up to now ...

Forget about IBMpass 1.1, people don't know how to use the 2.0 versions (Translation must be enabled with AA button) and get results with the older one only by accident.

I saw your eeprom dump and is TCPA encrypted, I already replied your email. I guess is just your luck Smile

Cheers
