Hello,

i got an hp omnibook 6100 and have read that it has a 24c08 security eprom. i dismantled the notebook but couldnt locate the chip (didnt look at the backside of the mainboard).

please if someone can tell me where the chip is located, id be very happy.

i already have the circuit (used it for ibm notebooks), and hoped that it may work for the omnibook aswell (using ibmpass).

any help on this topic is welcome...

p.s. i also heard there is a hash code generator (pressing f12 at password prompt gives me a 5 digit hash code), and i would be interested to buy this tool.
