I was just wondering, since i havent seen it verified anywhere, reading the chip while sitting at the POP logon will work, correct? It seemed like some of the stuff suggested that it was for removing supervisor passwords.
If it will, i'll get to ordering the various bits, and hopefully get my beloved g40 back in commission |

Just yesterday I succesfully remove the password of a G40 with the simple interface (2 resistors, 2 diodes), so of course it will work
by the way that same day I also remove the password on a thinkpad 600
2 for 1!! great.
thanks to Victor!!!!
