I have a T30 laptop with a bios password. After soldering on the leads to the eprom and not connecting to anything I get the following error messages
0187 EAIA Data Access Error
0191 System Security-Invalid Remote Change Requested.

It then goes into the bios past the lock, but does not let me change anything. After removing the leads from the chip I now get an error message 0189 Ivalid RFID Configuration Information Area.

If I leave the leads on the chip I get circuit not found or bus error when running program.
Any help is appreciated

EAIA error appears often when the eeprom has a bad contact with the mainboard's PCB. My only guess is that the chip's legs were drawn from the board, you overheated the legs or PCB traces got broken
