I am trying to find the correct pins to solder for the password recovery circuit but everywhere we look...it describes a 8 pin chip or 14 pin chip but the only ATMEL chip (which is located under wireless card slot) is a 28 pin chip the model number is (AT97SC23201) and the layout of the chip diagram does not label any of the pins as the appropriate needed pins, SDA, SCL pins. Any help would be appreciated here as would promptness. Thanks in advance.

If you'd try the search link in the upper-right corner, you will find out that X41 uses PCA24S08, which is 24RF08 clone.

We discussed this several times in the forum.

maybe you didn't actually read my post, Idea but my x41 DOES NOT use the pca24s08. my x41 has a 28 pin chip (model number is AT97SC23201).

i did use the search link (alot) before posting.

Maybe you should read my post again, and take this as a good hint, buddy.
The chip you mentioned is the TCPA chip, but the password isn't there.

Closed.
