| i tried to reset the bios with removing the rtc battery but it ask again for the password i think it is located in an eeprom but i couldnt find it. can help me to find this eeprom or help me to unloc it |

When you remove RTC battery don't forget to shortcut the 2 pins of battery ( RTC ) connector for 1 or 2 minutes to empty the condesator and clear the CMOS

| The Compaq requires you to remove the CMOS battery and the main battery, then power the laptop only using the AC adapter. This is the tricky move actually. After that, put the CMOS batt back and you should be able to enter BIOS. |
