I would like to know when the new HDD unlocking software will be commercially available ? is it possible to purchase beta version ?

Well, i can't say exactly. We planned to launch the GUI version but I don't know if I'll finnish this month. Mean while, the console versions is not beta anymore. The code has beed finally revised and the tests have been finnished already. Maybe, we publish a console program first, I really cannot say.

All can I say is that the software it is based on brute force and dictionary attacks and is intended to be used as a lab tool. Also we have tested on all IBM Thinkpads HDDs with best results.
The speed for an IBM Travelstar 8MB cache is about 13 millions (it's no mistake) words/hour. Regarding this fact, large dicts can be processed much faster and with better results.
The price will not be so prohibitive as other similar products are, that's for sure.

Just a mention. The software is made as a service lab tool to recover locked hard drives. Just buying it to recover only one HD is not an option because the costs may not be covered by the drive value.

if that will only erase the FAT or the NTFS Table, and the DATA is important, it may worth to buy one only to unlock one HD.
