hi.
done the dump by using my main eeprom reader as the chip works like a 24c08. read it out no probs which all seems right as i can see the ser number and model etc but this bit where the password is has got me stumped. the start is hex 0x330
0x330 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
0x340 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 88 C6 FA 03 83 C2 FA 02
now words visible on screen using aa on and off, is this a tcpa secure dump.
is it possible just to erase the chip and pop it back in as i removed chip for reading it off.
many thanks |

Reading like 24C08 should get a lot of junk, but supposely your dump is correct at that offset, then your laptop has no SVP.
Remove the 3V cell to loose the POP or the drive to get rid of HDP if any. |
