Hi!

I have an IBM T40 with a Hitachi Travelstar 5K100. It has both Master & User passwords set. (The power-on and Supervisor passwords are not set.) I have the User password, but not the Master password. I can get into the BIOS setup, but can't boot into Windows. I have valuable data on the hard disk I need to retrieve.

Can you help me?

Sure, I will help you.

But, as I explained in the email, if you have the HD user password then you have access to the drive. Can you be more specific, what exactly is the problem and how can I help?
