Any 2.5 HDD is good. Maybe you want to choose one that takes less power to increase batt life. Of course, 8Mb/5400 rpm is a good choice if you need some speed.

thanx, too bad i got to buy a new hd
i wish, at least, I could have a try with your new HD unlocking program.
but it seems to be intended just for lab owners.

I'm willing to pay, if that'll really crack this hd up.

Oh, I think you could have the software, no matter if you have service lab or not if you buy it. But only for a lousy HD...for tests...come on!

this is a Hitachi 60GB 7200RPM HDD costs about 250$ here.
if you can crack it for ~50$ and save 200$ (which i don't have right now) then why not? why can't you just help ppl out? it's not like i'm asking for you to do me a favor, I'm willing to PAY for your services, That isn't 100% guaranteed that it'll work so i don't wanna risk it for such a high price (again, which i don't have right now)and not getting anything eventually.

create a trial for 7 days or something.
U guys really did a great job up untill now helping out why stop there?!

I don't think this kind of software could be published as shareware. It doesn't make sense. I don't think I've heard of a trial version of cracking software till now.
What is it to try? To see if you can find your password? If the password is found then why bother buying it... Rolling Eyes

U can be sure i don't have a stack of disks here just waiting to be cracked

We discused very seriously these matters and plan to launch a lite version of eraseon that will work only for a specific drive. This will be the same program only that will be activated on a drive specific serial number. The price will be way under a new HD price and now we can cover all users segments.
The main version will remain focused on service shops area.
