Victor,
Its been a while .. and a few years ago I asked you how long you thought it would be before we had a software solution to the password problem. If iI recall correctly you said it wasnt possible. I recently saw a guy on ebay claiming to be an ex IBM software engineer that claimed to have the solution without opening the case at all.

Hi Steve,

For the major part of the new models, no need to open the case at all.
I am tired of such "ex IBM software engineers" selling or scamming on ebay and anyway is not our concern, since we have our solution and promote it here.

We have known eachother long enough that you should know that my question isnt and wasnt a critisism. In my opinion you and Bob are the best.

There is a part of solution but is still not only software, the RFID , which aparently could be supported by the P24S08 eeprom in the new T61, X61. RFID is useless if the eeprom is APP locked cause you can't disable it by RFID, when you try to reset the TCPA lock, not mentioning the equipment costs that is much higher, etc.

Models with the TPM chips are excluded, in my opinion.
