The eeprom is marked P24S08 and is a 8 pin SOIC. I'll take a closer look at those pics, only to mention some R61 models have the eeprom on the underside _________________ Victor Voinea

Thank you your kind support.
My provlem was solved. I didn't find the correct chip which had 8 pins. So, I don't have any idea, then I have rolled back.
But result was very good! supervisor password was cleared completely. The main power battery and BIOS battery were disconnected during the time.
I think that anybody can be unlock supervisor password by disconnect power resources. But not sure 100%
Thanks again,

No, you had only the power on password which is simply cleared by removing the 3V cell.
Supervisor is stored into the eeprom P24S08. Which as I said is there, not in your picture tough, you didn't covered the entire board so I couldn't guide you more.
If you are willing to sped a little more time on that (I doubt you would, but anyway..), we would appreciate if you can take some more shots and send them via email at support(atsign)allservice(dot)ro. _________________ Victor Voinea

0187 EAIA - Have you soldered the eeprom legs? There is a SC between the legs or eeprom has a bad contact with the PCB. |
