|
|
Hello all,
This morning I was able to transfer the contents of the EEPROM to my Computer from the ThinkPad R30 using the Simple Interface provided by Victor. I ran both the IBMpass 1.1 and 2.0 on this file, and it returns the password as "9L", but the BIOS reports this as incorrect. I have posted the EEPROM image at http://www.buffaloe.com/a.bin. Could someone please help me, do I have a corrupt EEPROM or EEPROM image or perhaps I have done something wrong?
Thanks!

Try with alternated scancode. "JR"
Are you sure you read this dump with R24RF08? |

Hello,
I will not be able to look at the laptop for a few hours, but I will try the "JR" as soon as possible. I used the R24RF08.exe provided on your website to read the EEPROM, connected to COM1 and read from the serial port, but I am inexperienced with electrical diagrams so I may have something misconfigured.
Thanks so much!
