Hello again.

The ATMEL-chip has now arrived [I THINK it's an original, but the writing is too tiny for my poor old eyes to be certain!] from the USA.

I will post it to the first person who would like it - just let me know.

Thanks again.

I will take this chip off of your hands if it's still available.

Thanks,
Sean

I've now posted the Atmel chip to Sean/leachy12. [I only had the one, so no requests from others, please.]

Good luck to you all.

Please stick to the main story and post the follow ups here:

Hi, as many may have noticed, i do not have the password for my thinkpad. i am sure it is the supervisor password as it cannot be reset by resetting bios etc.
I Am willing to pay for somebody to fix this for me, as i have had absolutely no luck doing it myself.
Somewhere in the united kingdom would be essential, as i have a limited budget, so postage will have to be considered. i will, of course pay shipping fees then pay you for your time.
I hope that i will find someone willing to do this for me.
Thankyou.
For more details PM me (email address removed)
Thanks again

Same old problem sandyf had. Why don't you simply read the chip and find the password? Then make the eeprom available for someone else Wink
