No ofense, but you seem to have zero experience (electronics) and we can't really teach you here.
But that's ok, nobody can do all so better take this to a local service shop or at least have a friend to do it for you. |

The pins notation is not important. MAX232N and all other 232s have the same pin diagram. Don't bother with the names and take the pin number as reference.
Vcc=Vdc aka continuous current/direct current (+) pole
Good luck! _________________ Victor Voinea

THANK YOU VICTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I DID IT!
The Problem was that the contact to my needles was not given - so i was not able to read the bios! moreover i can give the advice to everyone that the given voltage always must be between GROUND and significant point. it was not clear for me in the beginning.
The Bios was TCPA locked, so sended the file to victor and flashed the new one! Very good and fast service!!
Nice Work!!
Keep it on......

Victor,
Thank you for all the wonderful resources and information you have posted on your site! It has been extremely helpful is trying to recover my T61.
My question pertains to the P24S08 pin layout on the board. Both sides of the pin have no indentation or markings to indicate where the first pins starts. The board layout is the same as the T61-Alt.jpg.
very best,
Ender |
