Willem list w25x80 and is the same as m25pe80.
I left the m off the front of m25pe80. |

Buddy,
Willem lists 25x080, not 25x80. 25x080 is a 1k ordinary SPI, not a flash.
BTW, x is a wildcard is not actually an X. _________________ Victor Voinea

This is not really a willem but somewhat that they claim to be a willem, and is not.
We have the latest willem board and software here and I talk on the facts, not what I see listed on a bogus site.... _________________ Victor Voinea

Hey,
I'm using wellon VP-480. Good one, from ebay for cheap.
This one can rewrite your flash.......unfortunately in the means of removing pass, it will not help even a bit.
All you need is to delete the right place in the eeprom where is the hash and it will jump in manufacture mode. But if you delete the wrong zones, you will get security mismatch error.
The security zone is unfortunately stored in the reneas chip (starting with M2) and only elnec programmer can read it. (hopefully I'll get one in a few weeks, then I can post some results).
Cheers,
Shef |
