Hello,

i've succésfully read the eeprom.
but now if i turn the tp on again the screen stays black.

the batterie is on low power could this be a reason?
or have i damaged something?

If the batt is low then plug in the AC adapter. Also check with an external monitor by using Fn+F7. But I think you have a serious power supply problem there.

Hello,

I had the same prob when putting TP together after dismatling the motherboard (cause used the TP manual for locating the sec chip).

The TP did not boot at all, only the led indicators (bat and power) lid up. The reason was quite simple: Memory chip was not properly in its place.

So try to check that memory chip is firmly attached.

Worked for me. And now it boots up.
