Ok first few attemps failed with eeprom not available error so I changed computers and its worked first time to read the data
Loaded into IBMpass lite and it shows the password as ASDA which I have tried, it accepts it and then asks again for a password.
The first time it shows like pc symbol and a lock, and second time it shows the same again but with a 1 above the computer.

That is the drive password, try to press F1 at the prompt, the logo will change and a small buddy should appear on the left. You are now asked for the HD master password so type in the SVP. If it works your lucky, if not you have 2 choices:
1. Replace the drive
2. HD Security tools 1.4b
