Hi there,

somebody has experience with Tecra M5?
Found a small 24C08 in tssop package. If I modify it i get security error and it still want password. Somebody can make a dump with different/no password set?

Got the new board yesterday. Password is stored in 24c08 next to the renesas mcu. Seems to be encrypted

i have 2 Toshiba tecra M5 both password protected I’ve found 2 eeprom on the board and there is one flash chip i have tried reading the eeproms but couldn't read it i have tried every thing to read it and no luck do any one managed to read them or have a trick to read them.

Any news regarding unlocking this notebook?
I have read the 24c08, but didn't manage to remove the password.

hi did any one find a solution for the tecra m5 i have one and for the last few months i was trying to unlock it with no luck

hey everyone

i just want to know where is the password kept on the tecra m5... i have a programmer that i bought from ebay and i have done alot of research and all they say its on the 24c08 chip but i looked everywhere on the motherboard and i couldn't find it, can someone give me the exact location of it because i bought a computer of the net with a bios password on it, did anyone bypass the password....

please someone help.
