My win2k will not except the 'setup_ibmpass21' file, something about system or files not updated. Anyone know why?

Hello Mike,
You must have already MS Installer 2.0 or above. _________________ Victor Voinea

Hi,
This has already been installed, I think with SP4 so version 'MSinstaller_2.0.2600.2' so that can't be the fault!

Is gonna work if you have enough privileges, do it from an administrator account. _________________ Victor Voinea

Interesting fault Victor. I have two Hard disks in my system. One for data and the other for the OS. All my downloads go to 'D:\downloads\' and in this case 'ALLservice\Pack\'.
After unpacking the zip file I then tried to install, this was the fault. The installer thought that it was on C:\, so you can't install from D:\.
After copying the file 'setup_ibmpass21.msi' to the disk C:\ all worked well.
Hope this will help anyone with the same fault.

The program can be installed from everywhere like spare drives, local drives or over network, etc.
As I believe, the directory where setup.exe was originally located has "execute" flag disabled or you didn't have enough privileges there. Or something _________________ Victor Voinea
