Hi,

I have a question about a T500 thinkpad.
I followed http://www.allservice.ro/forum/viewtopic.php?t=47

The chip in the T500 is a P24S08 and when I made the simple interface I was able to get a bin file with the R24rf08.exe programm

I named my bin file test4.bin

When I open this file in IBMpass 2.1lite I can read the file, but cannot figure out my password.

I can see the 0x330 and the 0x340 but cannot see the 0x338
Playing with scanode I can see JPA in the right of the screen, but that password doesn't work for me.

I'm a newby, and read many posts, but cannot figure out what i'm doing wrong.

Hello,

I am sorry, but the laptop has TCPA lock. Each T500 uses unique encryption keys.

You will need to order W24RF08 license ($30) and TCPA unlock service ($25). Download W24RF08 from www.allservice.ro/store/utils and see register.doc in the kit.
