Hello, I have a thinkpad A30p that has a locked supervisor password. I have tried to use your program R24RF08 and was able to get a .bin file.
when I read the .bin file in to the IBMpass v2.1 Lite program and look at 0x330 to 0x340 all I see is 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00...
what am I doing wrong? could this be an TCPA security chip to encryption issue? Any help would be appreciated. |

Hello,
I got the same results in a Lenovo W500, that's because you only have a Power On Password (POP) active, just remove the internal battery for a few minutes and you're good to go. You get all 00's in those locations because Supervisor Password (SVP) is not set.
