| just looking to find someone that can help. i know this is not a computer but no one else can help.i have a kenwood dvd radio that is locked. i need a password but dont have it. i have been reading around and heard that passwords are stored on the emmprom chip. is there away to up up this unit and tell witch chip it is. thinking it has 8 legs. after i find it i can tell what one it is. seen it maybe a 24c01 but dont know. if i can locate this how hard is it to gat password off chip are install new one. thank you for anyhelp |

Definitely is an eeprom of some kind, see what you can come up with...
