I have a Lenovo T41 on my hands with bios password.
i looked at this post

Can i replace Serial Port DB9 Female with PS/2 or other?
I do not have a DB9 port on my PC...so can i replace for example with PS/2( used for mouse ) or usb ?
If yes please provide schematic for connections !

To those coming from the AC outlet, maybe.
Seriously, you should get a PCI serial port card and put it in that slot, so your PC will have a COM port extension. _________________ Victor Voinea
