hello, hope you can help me with my problem. After attempting to use the Speedfan (it didn't show the temperature or cpufan speed) began to show the 0188 error message (my TP won't boot).
Then I did a BIOS upgrade, and then the Thinkpad shows me the error 0188.a
Finally I went back to the older version of BIOS, and the error message is (0188 without a)
I think I need a paid program to fix this error. I would like if somebody tell me step by step what I have to do and how I could buy the licensure of the program (I haven't a Paypal account, maybe WsternUnion)

Thank you very much.

P.D.: my TP model is: A20m 2628-41S
P.D.2: my thinkpad battery is dead.

Hello,

The repair procedure is:

1. Read 24RF08 and create a binary dump.
See the tutorial above

2. Buy W24RF08 license and have us repair the dump file.
Download and install 2.1a version from www.allservice.ro/store/utils/ and see register.doc for WU payment.

3. Email the form along with the dump file to our support inbox to get the license key and the fixed dump back.

Regards

Any of them is just fine, but for a long run pick the driven programmer.

Good luck
