Hi all,

need a little help, Ive got a cf-19 about 7 months ago and about 3 days back i found out that for me to get into bios I need a password,

I have no idea of the password as the cf-19 is secondhand from bankrupt company.

Does anyone know how to clear the password or can anyone offer this service to me for a fee.

any help is really appreciated.

Thankyou

Hi,

Ive not tried this but have been told by quite a few that this is a no go with the toughbook,

I would have thought that it would be more secure than that, please correct me if i am wrong

Thanks for the input

Ive tried the remove all batteries today and the bios password is still there, the bios did reset due to the date being set to Dec 2007 in vista.

Any more ideas please ?

Thankyou

@ Traud, no need to apologize mate, at least you tried to help and i had ago at what was said. Each step i take is a step closer to finding a workable way.

Would the bios password be stored in an eeprom or do they store them in the tpm ?

im new to this so please excuse.
