I have a SONY PCG-GRz615G. Serial number 5201012.
It's stuck on the bios password screen.

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Hi folks,

i'm totally stuck trying to get into this viao laptop.
believe it or not i inherited it. It's a dead man's laptop.
creepy.

Anyway...

Model Number: PCG-GRV516G (on back, says: PCG-8F1M)
Phoenix Bios 4.0 release 6.0
BIOS checksum after three incorrect entries: 00107
(or 00000 without if just trying to boot without accessing the bios)
SN is scuffed up, but last 7 could be: 5101226 (although the last 3 could just as easily be 776, 276, 775, or 275. sorry).
no service tag.

Can anyone help?

Cleaned up.

Again, do not post requests for a code when your SONY gives XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX or XXXX one time code. The generator is not working for those at this very moment! Read the thread from the first page!

The solution is to take the laptop apart and read 24C02 eeprom, we already posted in the forum the software and interface schematics for that.

Am explicat in acest thread ca pentru modelele cu ONE TIME CODE, nu merge. In acest caz, trebuie demontat si citit un eeprom.
