This is my first topic here.

I have this IBM with BIOS and HDD password. I have read the tutorial you made to get the dump of BIOS and that was successful.
But now I have this problem: when I read the bin file with IBM lite, I can see a word at the 330 camp: the word is KUGSAN, so I assume that that is the password.
But when I try to insert it, nothing happens. Is there any specific function to insert the password? Any special keys? Because, when I insert the password nothing happens and the laptop still continues to receive more caracters...

Ok, "kugsan" if deciphered correctly is the SVP here. Remove the locked drive and try again. You shoudl have access to BIOS.

HDP and SVP are two different things. Is true that sometimes (many times) people set both of them to be the same, but they are different. and SVP does not override HDPs

When SVP problem above is solved, re-insert the drive and at HDP prompt (a cylinder+padlock) press F1 to get into the Master HDP mode - a small buddy shows up on with the HDP logo - then type "kugsan" again.
If that is not working, then the solution is HD Secuirty Tools.

I have already tried with the HD and without it and it's the same, the kugsan word doesn't work...

To access BIOS, I just have to press Access IBM button, right?

After I insert the password, do I have to press any other key, or does it go right to BIOS?
