hello everybody i have this problem with my IBM R50e. my tech friend tried to revive my beloved R50e... but it seems that the so called ATMEL 24RF08 Chip accidentally short circuited... and when he booted it up.... it just beeped several times and no more display came out.... can somebody help me with this please... thanks and mMerry XMAS to all. _________________ MISMOMAN |

Topic moved here since it's hardware related.
The eeprom is ok, but if your friend shorted the Vcc with some other pins then some regulators may be doomed.
