i try many times for reading i found error eeprom ERROR: Eeprom not available!
i checked by itester it is ok
my laptop t400
eeprom : nxp P24S08
i want to erase no need to know the password can i use the writer - support for this eeprom or no ? -

Hi there,

You must do a proper setup to read the eeprom with R24RF08, the we can talk about the writer later on. R24RF08 fully supports the eeprom, just do it well.

Please don't triple post it, I try my best anyway.

I was given a IBM Think Pad R40 and they lost the password, I built ATMEL 24RF08 Chip reader as you?ve instructed. I get a message ?ERROR: Eeprom not available?, but it creates a dump file that is blank and reads 0x0. I?m at a loss, do I need to buy a new chip or can you help me figure out what to do next?

Buddy, we're not clairvoyants. We need TO SEE PICTURES!\
Get a camera (not your phone) and take a few shots with the setup you've made, include the serial conenctor, the interface in details and how is it hooked up to the chip.
