hello , i need help with bios pasword (sony vaio pcg-z1m), is a big problem because the SN is broken , if is another place in my sony where i can find the magic solution will be indebted.

d_mihai - If you can boot to Windows, RW-Everything might show the serial number as stored in the BIOS. (I know it does in the Thinkpads I've tried.) Otherwise, you probably will have to read the chip, as explained in various threads on this forum. Reading the chip, then using Victor's IBMPass2 utility ought to give you both the serial number and the password.
