could someone show me were the fuses are on a t41 thinkpad i was trying to read the eeprom and now it wont boot no beeps just a black screen i can hear the hard drive spin and the cpu fan runs and cdrom and every thing just a black screen thanks |

You may not have blown a fuse!!!
IBM T4x series have a defect with the GPU.
To check remove keyboard but keep it pluged in so you can power on.
Push down on the GPU and power on keeping pressure on the chip.
If you get the IBM splash then it is a reflow problem.
Let us know what you find.

Remove 24RF08 from the motherboard and see if the laptops starts without it. If yes, then you need a working new chip properly flashed with correct data. _________________ Victor Voinea
