hello,
My customer has a X61 Tablet
It shows, error 0192 System Security. Embedded Security hardware tamper detected.
He changed PS08 chip.
What can we do for this?

The BIOS chip has been changed or flashed with foreign code.
It can be done, we have to prepare a valid BIOS code and a correct eeprom dump for it.
The following packages are mandatory.
1. SPEG
2. W24RF08

Normally only SPEG should be enough as we offer one free BIOS repair for 0192 included, but if the eeprom P24S08 data is missing or corrupt then we need to fix that too and that requires W24RF08.

The service is registered priority air. It should take 3 or 4 days for Turkey.

the notebook opens up the bios settings. Do I need to speg programmer? |
