That started to work... at least the system went blank upon entering password you provided and appeared to try to reboot, but then system still can't find disk and then prompted with new password request, this time with different Key: 63620672 /
Would you mind posting password for that? Sorry for inconvenience.... |

No, it's not original disk. Original was a rotating drive that crashed soon after we got the laptop. They gave me a replacement rotating drive, but I installed an SSD (64GB Kingston SSDNow V Se) instead.
New key is: [removed]
BTW, I've been using this for over a year with no problems. Then today it suddenly froze and came up with the locked disk upon reboot. |

It is clear to me that this guy's HDD is locked... and in another machine if that is really just one drive there.
The drive can have two passwords so the laptop should ask no more than twice for the HDPs and twice for BIOS admin and system passowrd. 4 in total.
Cleaned up.

So I tried innumerable (over 20) times and it kept denying me access and would always end up giving me a new Key. If, as you say, my "HDD is locked," do you have any suggestions how to unlock it? (And, yes, it is the only HDD in my machine, so I can't use that machine at all.)

A solution would be to crack the password, so take it to a pro.
