Manifestare:
Imprimanta nu tipareste decat jumatate de pagina sau deloc sau, in cel mai rau caz, nu este recunoscuta de PC-ul ce ruleaza Win98.
Rezolvare: Actualizarea versiunii DirectX.
Imprimantele din seria Lexmark L6XX cu interfata USB instalate pe calculatoare ce ruleaza W98 necesita minim DirectX8.0 (8.1) pt a putea tipari, deoarece driver-ele folosesc comenzi specifice versiunii 8.0 sau mai mare pt a accesa porturile USB. |

Well, is a story to tell.
Bob has to deal with an old W98 desktop and a Lexmark USB printer. He installed a USB card in the PC, drivers, etc. and as a result, the pages were half printed.
Updating the DirectX drivers to 8.1 version which was the last available for W98 solved the problem. |
