I was using my Sony Vaio PCG-7192L yesterday when I knocked it over and it fell on its side with the headphones in it. The headphones came out, but the headphone input itself went into the computer. While attempting to take the computer apaart, the CD drive fell out as well.

I am prett sure if i open it up, i can put back in the CD drive and fix it , but am not sure if opening it will damage anything. I have all but one screw in the center taken out. I have looked for manuals and am unable to find anything on it.

I don't have a hardware maintenance manual for this, but VAIO's are easy to dismantle.

I would like to see a pictorial with it step by step.

PCG-7192L is not your model# it is more like a series#.

Looking at some of them there are no maintenance manuals.

Will continue to look and let you know what I find.

Good luck.
