Hey,
got an old Fujitsu Celsius H240 and used the internal HDD Toshiba MK1655GSX. Did a power on password on the laptop and it seems that there has also been set an ATA PWD on the HDD! Whenever I tried to connect the Toshiba via USB or internal to another laptop, it is visible but I can't do anything on it, it's writeprotected.
Can anybody help me here? Don't have the H240 here, just another FUJITSU LIFEBOOK which is nearly the same.
Thanks!!!!! |

Hello,
You must have the original laptop, if the HD security options was to stick it to the machine.
Anyway, after 3 trials does it prompt some numerical code? _________________ Victor Voinea

Well, if you have a Lifebook there then type in these:
(valid for standard US QWERTY, not for some stupid French AZERTY)
3hqgo3
jqw534
0qww294e
This is just experimental, I don't think it will work this way... _________________ Victor Voinea
