Thanks to admins for running this forum

Basically i've got think pad X201 have followed all the instructions failed at the end ive F**ed the chip
it was PS08 (21 32 019) this is what it was written on it

What are my options can i buy chip somewhere and get it replaced ??

Hello,

Those chips are only found in Thinkpads. Besides they must be written with correct data, like S/N, MAC ,etc.

I will check if I have something here. The main problem is how skilled are you to replace it. Don't get me wrong but if I look at that picture..

By the way I've not powered motherboard on after the demage I've caused my soldering machine is not any good + my exp

in incercarea mea de a afla parola de bios la lenovo t510,am daramat un chip.este vorba de flash de bios. MX25L6445E M21-10G.si acu caut disperat sa remediez asta.lam distrus mecanic.
mi sa rupt un pin(cel de masa,lam refacut dar nu mai zice nimic.adica lapt porneste dar nu booteaza nu afiseaza nimic,total inutil. ce mai e de facut?flash nu gasesc sa cumpar+ ca mai trebuie si programat cu vers care trebuie..

Parola nu se afla in acel chip, acolo e BIOS-ul

Si daca ai refacut pinul de masa, atunci de ce nu mai merge?
BIOS-ul il putem repara daca e corupt, trebuie citit originalul si recuperata cheia de la TCPA.
