Passphrase is ON, but SVP was not active. Remove the 3V cell to erase the POP.
Also replied in the email.
Have a nice weekend. _________________ Victor Voinea

THANK YOU SO MUCH VICTOR!!
I unpluged the 3v cell and pluged it right back in,
and as I turned the X61 on, it worked!!
BTW, I didn't bother to re-solder the SDA,SCL off
the mother board, it's too scarely, cause the wire
I used was single thread tiny, it's very fragile, so
what I did was move it back and forth and it broke
right on the 4/5th movement, that left a "cold-retreat",
but "don't pull the wire", you might just pull the circuit
print right out, just jiggle back and forth.
Also on my first trial that was a fail, cause I got "no Eeprom found"
message, and after checking the forum and reading numerious
posts I concluded that the spare PC I used might be a little bit weak
of RS232 power voltage supply(means below 5.1v, maybe..,I guess),
so I find one of my old PC, reload the XP and tried, WARA!!, got it works.
Regards
